Jacob Scoccimerra is a program manager, strategist, and business development leader with over six years of experience in the commercial space industry. He began his career at Nanoracks (now Voyager Space), where he led internal payloads and oversaw more than 100 missions to the International Space Station and Blue Origin’s New Shepard, including high-profile projects with NASA, Axiom, the Saudi Space Agency, and commercial innovators.
He has since served as Space Program Lead at Interstellar Lab, where he helped secure a NASA Deep Space Food Challenge prize and established partnerships with commercial space station providers. As founder of Monolith LLC, he consults on government affairs and research strategy for space-based life sciences and has secured over half a million dollars in NASA funding for clients like Helogen Corporation.
Jacob’s work spans mission management, space-based biotechnology, and STEM education, including leading development of the first aquaculture research platform for microgravity. He brings a unique combination of technical insight, policy fluency, and entrepreneurial drive to the advancement of space science.
