Founder, Otento LLC
Miki is an innovation strategist and the founder of Otento LLC. She is also a lecturer at the Stanford d.school, teaching “How to Shoot for the Moon” class. She combines her diverse background in physics, astronomy, aerospace engineering, medical imaging, and biomechanics with humanity-centered design and systems-level perspectives to advance innovation for future generations on and off Earth. As a former Commercial Innovation Program Manager at ISS National Lab, she advocated for utilizing space to advance science, technology, and R&D, and developed strategic partnerships with NASA, government agencies, startups, Fortune 500 companies, financial sectors, education and academic institutions.
