Vice President of Mergers, Acquisitions, and Ventures; Central Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI)
As CIRI’s Vice President of Mergers, Acquisitions, and Ventures, Hyder Alabed leads the development and execution of inorganic growth strategies. In his role, Hyder oversees investment activities across M&A, venture capital, and divestitures.
Hyder joins CIRI from Blue Origin where he served as Head of Reef Starter. In his role, Hyder was responsible for launching and leading an international investment initiative focused on facilitating growth for companies pursuing research and development in space.
Prior to that, Hyder spent time as an investor for global organizations including Disney, Lockheed Martin, and Techstars, one of the most active venture capital funds in the world. Before his investment career, Hyder was a data scientist for The Walt Disney Company.
Hyder volunteers as a mentor for various accelerator and incubator programs in support of innovative companies with advanced technology solutions. He holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Statistics and Economics from Florida State University.
